The "sandwich generation" refers to adults who are simultaneously caring for children and aging parents. This poses acute challenges - not only in terms of time and resources, but in the emotional toll it can take. This article outlines 5 ways in which we can sensitively lead, coach and support people in this stage - to help them sustain their own wellbeing, energy and engagement with work and life.
